SEOUL (Yonhap) - The National Radio Research Institute of the South Korean Ministry of Science, Information and Communications Technology, said that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Center for Studies and Research for Communications in Tunisia in the field of electromagnetic wave testing and validation.
Under the memorandum of understanding, the two countries plan to exchange their systems in describing regulations related to the field of information and communication technology, testing and validation, conducting joint research, exchange of experts, training, education, etc.

Medium and small-sized companies in South Korea will be able to obtain relevant information, such as testing and evaluation, steps for certification of authentication, situations related to technology restrictions, etc., when exporting their products to Tunisia in the future.
If the memorandum of understanding between South Korea and Tunisia develops into a mutual recognition agreement, the South Korean companies will conduct product tests in South Korea and receive recognition of the conformity assessment results.
The institute stated that it will seek to sign memoranda of understanding with African countries on the basis of international cooperation with Tunisia, and will also seek to expand the countries in Southeast Asia that sign a mutual recognition agreement with the country, to help local companies export their ICT products and
